Junior Tennis Programs

IMG_2729At the MNTC we offer a wide variety of programs and camps for your junior tennis players of all age and skill levels.

Weekly Programs for 2013/2014

Weekly programs are offered for beginners, intermediate and advanced junior players.

MNTC offers a 10% discount on siblings and second classes.

Beginner 1
: Beginner, 3-5 years old. 
Learn basic Tennis Strokes, hand eye coordination through drill, games, utilizing USTA’s QuickStart equipment. 
Emphasis: FUN & More. 
 Tuesday 4:30-5:30pm and or Thursday 4:30-5:30pm.

Beginner 2:
 Beginner to Advanced Beginner, 6-9 years old. 
Learn basic Tennis Strokes, hand eye coordination and footwork through drills and games. 
LEARN TO RALLY. 
Tuesday 4:30-5:30pm and or Thursday 4:30-5:30pm.

Beginner 3:
 Beginner to Advanced Beginner. 
Work on basic Tennis Strokes, footwork and beginning singles & doubles strategies through drills and games. 
Tuesday 5:30-7pm and or Thursday 5:30-7pm.                    

Intermediate 1& 2:
 Solid Intermediate. Emphasizes ball control, generating power & consistent offensive strategies. 
Play situational and competitive games & matches. 
Tuesday 5:30-7pm and or Thursday 5:30-7pm.

MNTC Tennis Academy (MNTC Staff approval required for this program):
 For serious year round players committed to playing in sanctioned tournaments and at the grade school level.  Programs concentrate on match play, playing patterns, singles/doubles strategies utilizing different styles in competitive matches.  USTA QuickStart format used for younger players using courts of 36′, 60′ or 78′ with Red, Orange, Green or Regular tennis balls to breed success and longer rallies. 
Monday 4:30-6pm, Wednesday 4:30-6pm and or Friday 4:30-6pm.

Schedule restrictions may apply throughout the year.  Please call the MNTC to verify programs and/or camps.
