Chris TrizzinoOur Director of High Performance, Chris Trizzino, is a United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) certified professional and a United States Tennis Association (USTA)/USPTA High Performance Specialist in Player Development. In 2018, Chris was recognized as the Wilson/USPTA Professional of The Year, a national level award. Chris brings 15 years of extensive coaching experience to McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center. Prior to arriving in Williamsburg, Chris spent 2019/2020 based in South Florida as an ITF/WTA/ATP Touring Coach, high performance coach and hitting partner for numerous ITF Junior/ ITF Pro Circuit/WTA/ATP players. In the first seven years of his coaching career Chris held various coaching positions.

After his time as a Junior Development Specialist, Chris competed on the ITF Pro Circuit both Internationally/Nationally to experience life on tour. After touring, Chris was named the Director of High Performance as part of the competitive pathway to a junior program in total of over 300 players. During that time, he developed numerous players that obtained state, sectional and national rankings. In addition to the program, Chris coached and traveled with college/professional players, helping them advance their career and establish a professional ranking. He is currently a head to toe sponsored global ambassador for Wilson Tennis and Luxilon Tennis. In 2019, Chris was one of six coaches selected internationally to represent the Luxilon Pro Tour Team.

For the past 15 years, Chris has been on a journey to learn, experience and absorb every facet of the tennis industry to become a complete coach. His passion for the sport of tennis, coaching, player development and inspiring young athletes is evident to anyone who observes him on court. Chris will play a key role in the operation of our tennis center, providing a complete program pathway, pro shop services and helping make McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center an world-class experience for everyone.
