After a career in business and raising a family, Erik returned to playing and coaching tennis. He earned VHSL and NFHS certificates and coached competitive High School tennis teams for ten seasons. Erik has served in various capacities at several tennis clubs in the Tidewater region, from volunteer to board of directors, where he expanded his experience training young tennis athletes.

Erik is a tennis organizer, a USTA team captain who actively participates in many local recreational tennis events, leagues and tournaments. He is a committed supporter, proud advocate and life long enthusiast for the sport and for the local tennis community.
